The MEP engineer or building services engineer specifies the system type and performance criteria during design development, 12 to 30 months before any contractor issues a purchase order. The problem

A mid-size European manufacturer of scroll and screw chillers, heat pumps and air handling units (15 to 500 kW cooling capacity) had a classic industrial marketing problem. Ninety two percent of revenue came from five long standing distributor relationships in Germany, France and the Benelux. The company held AHRI 550/590 certification for the chiller range but had no digital infrastructure to capitalize on it.
